Eight Injured In 15-Vehicle Pileup On Bronx River Parkway

A victim with life-threatening injuries is among eight people who were injured in a 15-vehicle pileup on the Bronx River Parkway near the Westchester/Bronx border.

The crash happened on the southbound side near East 233rd Street early Saturday afternoon, Jan. 18 shortly after the winter storm arrived.

Six of those injured sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries, authorities said. One person had a minor injury.
